Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents PKV's 2022 sustainability performance as a recycled-paper packaging manufacturer, reporting 340,284 tonnes of total greenhouse gas emissions across Scopes 1-3 and a 2.7% reduction in energy input per tonne versus 2018. It reports 3.4 million m3 of fresh-water use, 854,382 tonnes of waste paper purchased, and a 4.2 m3-per-tonne freshwater intensity. Social and community highlights include more than 600 employees and the Barthel Foundation's distribution of more than EUR 1.5 million to 77 projects and 30 scholars.
