Overview

The report describes how the company embedded ESG into strategy, management and daily operations, with the Board taking full responsibility and an ESG Panel coordinating management and reporting. It covers 2017 environmental KPIs for the Group's department stores and F&B stores, including 224,412 tonnes CO2e of greenhouse-gas emissions, 365,931 MWh of energy use and 1,895,317 tons of water consumption. The report also records 26,806 tons of non-hazardous waste and explains resource-saving measures, including energy-efficient equipment and LED lighting. Social disclosures cover employee health and safety, training, supplier management, anti-corruption controls and nationwide community initiatives.
