Overview

The report is Petco's first Sustainability Report, presenting its sustainability platform across responsible animal care, helping people thrive, and preserving the health of the planet. For 2020, the company reports 17,284 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 129,100 tCO2e of location-based Scope 2 emissions, and 441,024 MWh of total energy consumption. It also describes Board oversight of ESG issues and commits to increasing sustainable products to 50% by the end of 2025.
