Overview

The report describes PetroChina's 2019 sustainability performance across climate, environment, employees, safety and social contribution. It reports 174.08 million tons of total GHG emissions and a 25% reduction target for CO2 equivalent emissions per unit of operating revenue by 2020, compared with 2015. The company reports 460.7 thousand employees, two fatalities and 9.1% female representation on its 11-member Board. The report also includes a GRI content index, UN Global Compact participation and verification of GHG data by the China Quality Certification Center.
