Overview

The report presents the company’s 2016/2017 sustainability performance across a 12,212-person workforce, resource use and environmental impacts. Group energy consumption was 826,588 MWH, while the carbon footprint disclosed Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions of 138,505, 44,499 and 462,112 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, respectively, based on 2015/2016 data. The CSR information was reviewed by an independent third party, which provided a reasonable-assurance conclusion.
