Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents POSCO's 2008 sustainability performance under economic, environmental and social responsibility themes, prepared in accordance with GRI G3 and covering calendar year 2008. It reports consolidated sales of KRW 42 trillion and highlights resource and environmental management, including 98.8% by-product recycling. An independent assurance report covers selected economic, energy, CO2, POSEPI, safety, social contribution, ethics, win-win cooperation and training information.
