Overview

The report covers Prudential's consolidated 2012 sustainability activities across environmental, social and governance topics. It highlights achievement of the company's 2013 10 percent greenhouse-gas reduction goal more than six months early and solar arrays that generated more than 3.3 gigawatt-hours. Community contributions included $27 million in grants, more than $70 million in social investments and 120,000 employee volunteer hours. The report also describes Board-level sustainability oversight, a new Sustainability Council and an enhanced anti-bribery/anti-corruption policy.
