Overview

The report describes Asian Agri's 2019-2020 sustainability performance across its palm oil operations in Indonesia. It highlights a combined workforce of 20,262 employees and workers, continued support for more than 30,000 plasma and 11,000 independent smallholders, and 10 biogas plants generating renewable energy. The 2020 disclosure reports total GHG emissions of 2,660,082 tCO2eq and documents extensive fire prevention, conservation, worker safety and community programmes. SGS Indonesia independently assured the report using AA1000-based assurance procedures at a moderate (limited) level.
