Overview

The report presents Multi Bintang's 2018 sustainability strategy across water, emissions, waste, responsible consumption, health and safety, sourcing, and community development. A key initiative was the Sampangagung biomass facility, which replaced fossil thermal energy with renewable fuel made from agricultural and wood-processing waste. The report also discloses 471 employees and zero fatal accidents for both employees and contractors. Its sustainability disclosures were prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core Option and supported by a stakeholder-informed materiality matrix.
