Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes SSMS's 2019 sustainability performance through operational renewable-energy use, conservation and community programs. It reports total energy consumption of 142,570 GJ, the return of 21 orangutans to national-park habitat, and 105,976 trees planted and maintained. It also documents the first RSPO Smallholder certification for an SSMS-supported farmer association, covering 710.54 hectares and 265 farmers.
