Overview

The report describes Qantas Group's record 2007/08 performance alongside sustainability priorities covering aviation safety, employee wellbeing, fuel efficiency and community contribution. It reports a greater than 25 per cent emissions-intensity improvement target by 2020, a Group-wide environmental improvement program and 1.3 million tonnes of carbon-dioxide efficiency savings over two years. Sustainability statistics cover employees, diversity, energy, water and emissions, with selected data independently reviewed by KPMG.
