Overview

The report presents QNB Group's 2021 sustainability performance across Qatar, its international branches and major subsidiaries, with sustainable finance as a major focus. It reports QR10.25 billion in lending portfolio financing environmentally friendly, low carbon activities and 34 sustainable products and services. Operational metrics include 595,947 GJ of total energy consumption and 79,104 tonnes of CO2e total GHG emissions, alongside a 20% carbon reduction target by 2022 against a 2017 baseline. Deloitte provided limited assurance over preparation against the GRI Core Option and the 47% female employment rate.
