Overview

The report presents Qatar Petroleum's 2019 environmental, safety, social and economic performance for the QP Group, prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option. It reports 37.49 Million Tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 emissions and 2.69 Million Tonnes CO2e of location-based Scope 2 emissions on a QP equity basis, alongside 81,357 tonnes of waste and two fatalities. Climate ambitions include a 25% LNG-facilities carbon-intensity reduction target and 2-4 GW renewable capacity ambition, while the report describes CCS deployment and methane leak-detection programs. Lloyd's Register Qatar LLC provided limited assurance over GHG, environmental and safety data.
