The report presents Qingdao Port's 2021 sustainability performance across governance, environmental protection, safety and employee development. It highlights 568 million tons of cargo throughput and 23.71 million TEUs of container throughput, alongside the fully automated terminal's 52.1 units/hour record. Environmental KPIs include 700,249 tons of Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions, 1,399,625 MWH of comprehensive energy consumption and 5,040 1,000-ton of water consumption. The report also records 9,218 in-service employees and one work-related fatality.
