Overview

The report presents RailTel's FY 2018-19 consolidated turnover of INR 1038 crore and describes its nationwide telecom operations. It reports 730 employees at 31 March 2019 and 1156 outsourced employees. CSR initiatives covered digital literacy, women's skill development, rural Wi-Fi, education, health, and sanitation-related projects, with INR 257 lakh incurred during the year. Energy conservation measures included LED retrofitment, which reportedly achieved around 40% yearly energy savings.
