Overview

The report assesses ReSI's social impact through its UK residential portfolio as of 30 September 2020. It highlights £302 million invested across 2,708 properties, comprising 196 shared ownership units, 289 local authority temporary accommodation units and 2,223 retirement rentals. The report finds that 196 homes, or 7% of the portfolio, were new builds and brought into social and affordable housing for the first time. It also identifies potential local-authority savings of up to £607k per year and reports that 95% of retirement rental residents would recommend renting in retirement to a friend.
