Overview

The report presents RCBC's 2019 sustainability performance across economic, environmental, social and SDG topics. Sustainable finance is a central highlight: the bank raised PHP15 billion under its Green Finance Framework, PHP8 billion under its Sustainable Finance Framework, and an additional USD300 million, while its eligible sustainable portfolio totaled PHP51.741 billion across 9,364 projects. Operational disclosures include 15,668.49 Tonnes CO2e of Scope 2 emissions and solid-waste data for RCBC Plaza and A.T. Yuchengco Centre. The bank reported 6,344 employees and zero work-related fatalities.
