Overview

The report presents Royal Mail's 2022-23 ESG performance against a net-zero-by-2040 ambition, including a 50% Scope 1-2 reduction target by 2030 and 99% renewable electricity. Operational highlights include 4,725 electric vans at year-end, 35,703 tonnes of waste generated and 99% of waste recycled, reused or diverted. Royal Mail also introduced a double materiality assessment and expanded its community health partnership, including CPR training for employees.
