Overview

The report describes RS Group's 2021/22 progress across climate, people and responsible business priorities. Scope 1 and 2 emissions fell 20% during the year and 50% from 2019/20, while 88% of Group electricity came from renewable sources. The Group reached approximately 420,000 young engineers and students through its Grass Roots education programme and engaged 276,000 engineers and innovators in purpose-driven initiatives. Women represented 44% of the Board, and ERM CVS provided independent assurance over selected environmental, carbon, packaging and management data.
