Community Health Needs Assessment Report

Overview

The report is Rush's second Community Health Needs Assessment for Rush University Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital, covering fiscal years 2017-2019. It consolidates the hospitals' planning into one report, adds Austin to the service area, and uses locally collected qualitative and quantitative data. Four priorities are identified: reducing social, economic and structural inequities; improving mental and behavioral health; preventing chronic disease risk factors; and increasing access to care and community services. The report also incorporates the Central Region collaborative assessment and stakeholder input.
