Overview

The report presents Safaricom's FY25 sustainability performance across climate, people, communities and governance. The company achieved a CDP Climate Change score of A, while total GHG emissions increased to 61,791 tCO2e and 2.3 million trees were planted as part of its environmental programme. It also reports broad digital inclusion, health, education and financial empowerment impacts across Kenya, alongside a strengthened Board Risk & ESG Committee structure. Selected sustainability information was independently reviewed by PwC under limited assurance.
