Overview

The report describes SHI's 2012 sustainability management across shipbuilding, offshore, energy, power/control and wind operations. Highlights include 225,909 tCO2e of direct GHG emissions, 7,298 TJ of total energy consumption, a 92.1% waste recycling rate and ISO 50001 acquisition. It also reports 13,504 employees, extensive partner and community programs, and third-party assurance by LRQA under AA1000AS.
