Overview

The report covers SMT’s 2016 environmental and social performance for PBT and Sandmartin Zhong Shan, excluding satellite TV broadcasting and manufacturing in other locations. It reports 1,416 average employees across the three covered operations and segment-level electricity and water usage. Environmental actions included green-office measures, solar equipment at PBT Distribution Business and RoHS controls at the manufacturing plants. The Group also reported no corruption cases in 2016 and Nil fatal accidents and work injuries in the KPI table.
