Overview

The report describes Sandvik's 2013 performance across economic, environmental and social areas: invoiced sales were 87,328 MSEK and year-end employees totaled 47,338 FTE. The Group reported three work-related fatalities, while LTIFR improved 27% to 3.2. Environmental key figures included 8,900 TJ of energy use, 8,100 Thousand m3 of water consumption and 366 Thousand tons of waste. Sandvik also conducted a Group Executive Management materiality analysis and joined the UN Global Compact.
