Overview

The report describes Sanofi's 2023 CSR performance across workforce, climate, resource use, access to healthcare and governance. It reports 86,088 employees at year-end, Scope 1 emissions of 297,700 tonnes of CO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 109,367 tonnes of CO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 4,041,725 tonnes of CO2e. Sanofi reports SBTi-validated reduction targets and a net-zero ambition across all scopes by 2045. The chapter also includes a double materiality assessment, EU Taxonomy and SDG disclosures, and independent third-party assurance.
