Overview

The report presents Santander UK's 2022 sustainability and responsible banking strategy around a thriving workplace, better communities and a healthy environment. The company adopts its parent group's ambition to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Operational reporting includes 103,156,234 kWh of energy use and 5,761 tCO2e of market-based greenhouse gas emissions. ESG governance was strengthened through monthly Senior Management Committee review and increased Board Responsible Banking Committee focus.
