Overview

The report presents Santos' 2007 sustainability performance across 24 indicators, including a 10% improvement in its sustainability scorecard and programs spanning governance, health and safety, community, and environmental management. It reports 1,774 full-time-equivalent employees and 2,488.5 $million in product sales revenue, alongside a 20% emissions-intensity reduction target by 2008 from 2002. The report also discloses 4,671,810 tonnes of greenhouse emissions for Santos' Australian operated exploration and production operations in 2006 and four significant oil spills in 2007.
