Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes Santos' 2013 sustainability performance across climate, water, workforce safety and governance. It reports an energy-efficiency program delivering approximately 4.8 PJ of annual energy savings, equivalent to 250,000 tCO2-e, and highlights 1.6 million m3 of water made available for beneficial use. The report records one contractor fatality and explains the related response. Net Balance provided independent limited assurance over selected performance data and conducted a GRI G4 in accordance assessment.
