Sustainability Performance Report

Overview

The report presents Santos's 2019 sustainability performance across climate, environmental, community and workforce topics. Gross-operated Scope 1 emissions were 5.83 MtCO2e, while the report also disclosed 24.5 MtCO2e of Scope 3 product-use emissions. Santos reported zero fatalities in 2019 and 2,178 total Santos employees as at 20 December 2019. The report also highlights 33% female representation on the Board and ongoing targets for net-zero emissions, water, biodiversity and waste.
