Overview

The report describes Sanyo Denki's fiscal 2008 environmental performance across its Japan sites, including 17 newly certified eco-products and a 29.5% eco-product sales ratio. Company-wide zero emissions reached 99.6%, while reported CO2 emissions were 10,291 tons. The newly completed Kangawa Works incorporated a 150 kW photovoltaic system and 200-ton rain recycling tank. Environmental accounting records 9,400 m3 of water consumption and the waste section reports 2,904.2 tons discharged with a 99.6% recycling rate.
