Overview

The report describes Scentre Group's 2021 responsible-business performance across community, people, environmental impact and economic performance. All 42 Westfield Living Centres remained open during a COVID-19-interrupted year, while the workforce totalled 2,780 and the employee engagement score was 85%. The environmental section reports 221,475 tonnes of total portfolio Scope 1 and 2 emissions in 2021, a 30% reduction since 2014, alongside 66,651 t-CO2e of Scope 3 emissions and 54% operational waste diversion. The company also reiterates its commitment to achieve net zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030.
