Overview

The report presents Şekerbank's 2018-2019 economic, social and environmental performance and states that it was prepared under the GRI Standards Comprehensive option. It describes a Board-affiliated Sustainable Banking Committee, sustainable finance for agriculture, SMEs and women entrepreneurs, and digital inclusion initiatives. The report records 2019 total Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions of 14,342 ton CO2e and total energy consumption of 104,664 GJ. It also reports micro-finance support to more than 1,150 producers and direct contributions to 11 SDGs.
