Overview

The report presents Sharp's CSR concept and environmental vision, including a goal of becoming an environmentally advanced company and achieving zero global warming impact by 2010. It reports fiscal 2006 applications of plant-based resin paint and closed-loop recycling materials, as well as three domestic and two overseas factories achieving Super Green Factory status. The report also describes environmental education at 55 schools, forest-preservation activities in six Japanese locations, and Sharp's inclusion in several socially responsible investment indices.
