Social Activity Report

Overview

The report presents Shimano's 2010 social activities across corporate value, enjoyment, environmental care and community confidence. Highlights include the Shimano Green Plan self-check program involving some 1,500 partner companies worldwide, a 44,804 kg reduction in CO2 from private-car commuting at headquarters, and the Million Tree Project in Mongolia. The report also records more than 30 Wielerschool venues and 2,000 participating children in 2010.
