Social Activity Report

Overview

The report presents Shimano's 2016 social activities across product enjoyment, environmental stewardship and community engagement. It highlights the SSF Intelligent Plant, completed in November 2016, with energy-conservation measures, treated-effluent management and flood-control features. Public engagement included Shimano Fest Brazil, which attracted more than 20,000 participants, and the Argentina event, attended by about 24,000.
