ESG Report

Overview

The report is Shinsegae's first ESG report and describes its ESG Committee, ESG strategy and company-wide environmental management. The company sets a 40% carbon-emissions reduction goal and a net-zero goal by 2050. For 2021, it reports 118,980 tCO2eq of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 1,965,058 m3 of water consumption and 17,630,705 kg of waste discharge. The report follows the GRI Standards Core Option and includes independent assurance by KMR.
