The report presents Simon's 2021 sustainability program across customers, communities, environment, employees, and governance. It reports 570,664 MWh of total energy consumption, 119,230 metric tons CO2e of Scope 1+2 emissions, and 852,639 metric tons CO2e of Scope 3 emissions, alongside 2035 absolute reduction targets. It also highlights 3,368 employees, community engagement, and substantial charitable fundraising. Independent limited assurance by Lucideon CICS covered Scopes 1, 2, and 3.
