Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes Simon's 2023 sustainability strategy, including a new ESG materiality assessment and a continued focus on environmental, customer, community and employee priorities. It reports approved targets to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 68% by 2035 and Scope 3 emissions from downstream leased assets by 20.9% by 2035. Simon expanded public EV charging to 1,424 dispensers across 129 centers and supported more than 4.5K community programs and activations. Selected GHG and environmental data were independently assured by LRQA at a limited level.
