Overview

The report describes FY15 group-wide sustainability performance for Sims Metal Management. Energy use fell to 2,341,297 GJ and Group CO2 emissions were 226,048 tonnes, down 7% from FY14. The report also highlights 374,000 megawatt hours of renewable energy generated, global water consumption of 618.5ML, and 1,343,091 tonnes of waste generated. Workforce disclosures record 5,429 employees and continued improvement in the Group LTIFR to 1.9.
