Overview

The report describes SEB's 2019 sustainability work, including its signing of the UNEP FI Principles for Responsible Banking and implementation of TCFD recommendations. Sustainable-finance activity included a green loan portfolio of SEK 19bn and continued development of green products. The bank reported direct CO2 emissions of 22,525 tonnes against a goal to reduce total carbon emissions by 20 per cent from 2016 to 2020. Ernst & Young AB provided limited assurance over the Sustainability Report and Sustainability Fact Book.
