Overview

The report describes Skanska's Group-wide environmental management rollout and its environmental policy for construction and project development. By the end of 1999, systems operated in units representing 81 percent of employees, while 51 percent had certified systems. The report also covers 165 major projects with client-specified environmental standards and 361 where Skanska initiated greater environmental adaptation, alongside 525 environmental audits and specialist training programs.
