Overview

The report describes Smiths Group's FY2024 sustainability performance, including a validated Net Zero transition plan targeting operational Net Zero by 2040 and value-chain Net Zero by 2050. It reports 215,027 MWh of total energy consumption, with 41% derived from renewable sources, and Scope 1, location-based Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions of 19,687, 48,989 and 1,170,000 tCO2e respectively. Safety performance included zero work-related colleague or contractor fatalities and 71 recordable injuries. The Smiths Group Foundation was also launched and made 11 grants totaling c.£1m.
