Environment Report

Overview

The report presents Snowy Hydro's environmental commitments through its low-carbon-intensity generation assets, a long-running ISO14001-certified Environmental Management System, and operational environmental compliance controls. It reports 19,436 tonnes of total liable greenhouse emissions for 2012-13 and describes renewable generation of 4,500 gigawatt hours on average each year. The report also records no environmental emergencies in 2014 and includes BSI's independent verification of EPA licence compliance for the 2013-2014 Water Year.
