Overview

The report presents Solvay's first integrated sustainability performance following the Solvay-Rhodia combination, with consolidated facts and figures reflecting global company performance. It reports a 53% reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions since 2006 at constant activity perimeter and 222 Petajoules of 2012 energy consumption. Workforce reporting records 30,252 employees at year-end, while no fatal accident was recorded in 2012. Ernst & Young provided limited assurance over selected energy, environmental and product-portfolio information.
