Overview

The report presents Somfy's 2016 performance across financial, workforce, social, environmental and societal topics. The CSR reporting scope expanded to 41 Group companies and covered 4,942 employees, while total Group workforce was reported at 6,436 people excluding temporary workers. Environmental disclosures included 2,976 tonnes of waste, 57,615 m3 of water consumption and 26,435,078 KWh of energy consumption within the environmental scope. A Sustainable Development Steering Committee oversaw implementation of the Planet, Employees and Society strategy lines, and an independent verifier provided limited assurance over the CSR information.
