Overview

The report documents Sony's Group-wide environmental management structure, including a Global Environmental Policy and four regional Environmental Conservation Committees. In 1996, Sony reported 39 ISO-14001-certified sites and 90 more in preparation, while setting targets for certification and reductions in energy, waste, pollutants and paper use.
