Overview

The report describes SpareBank 1 SMN's sustainability strategy, including a target to reduce direct and indirect CO2 emissions by at least 50% by 2030. In 2020 the group developed an ESG analysis tool for its corporate loan portfolio, issued green bonds and expanded green products. Its consolidated climate account reported total greenhouse gas emissions of 576.6 tonnes CO2e, with emissions from subsidiaries included for the first time.
