Overview

The report describes Spectris's sustainability governance, environmental performance and ethical supply-chain work for 2016. The Board reviewed sustainability developments annually, while the Company Secretary held overall responsibility for sustainability matters. Reported environmental results included 90,132 MWh of energy consumption, 165,054 m3 of water consumption and 75,144 tonnes CO2e of gross GHG emissions. LRQA independently verified key environmental and workforce data, and 95% of Group worldwide purchasing spend with suppliers in the top 20 at-risk countries was subject to audit.
