Overview

The report describes Springer Nature's 2018 responsible business programme across research access, diversity, people, environment and community engagement. It reports 12,927 full-time employees (headcount), a diversity and inclusion roadmap, and a goal of 45% of the top three organisational tiers being women by 2023. Environmental data show 31,360 MWh of total energy and an 18% net carbon reduction versus 2017. The company also reports more than €870,000 in donations and sponsorship.
