Overview

The report covers St Barbara's Gwalia, Kailis and Tarmoola operations from September 2011 to August 2012. It describes production at Gwalia and King of the Hills, including 700,445 t of ore produced at Gwalia, and documents fifteen environmental incidents, eight of which were externally reportable. The report also presents water-management activities, including 325,895 kL discharged to the Tower Hill Pit, and emissions reporting of 149,321 t CO2-e. Rehabilitation efforts focused on capping the southern cell of Tarmoola TSF4 and re-profiling legacy waste-rock dumps.
